CityLink’s logistics portfolio reaches 1 billion euros and announces numerous new team members

June 14, 2022

Since its establishment in November 2020, CityLink has rapidly expanded its Dutch urban logistics portfolio to a value of approximately € 1 billion. This includes three recent off-market transactions totaling €90 million and over 60,000 square meters in the Amsterdam and Utrecht regions.

CityLink was born in late 2020 from a collaboration between HighBrook Investors and Proptimize, in response to the increasing scarcity of available and flexible logistics business space in and around the most densely populated areas of the Netherlands. With an expert team with extensive knowledge of acquisition, asset management, technical management and an extensive network, CityLink can offer its users optimal last mile solutions.

To provide even better service to the clients in its portfolio, CityLink Operations B.V. was established, a fully dedicated exclusive management company with its own staff to provide premium service. The CityLink Operations team is thriving and the company has hired 11 professionals in the past 5 months. One of these people is senior advisor and expert in logistics real estate development and leasing, Bert Angel, who will operate as chairman. Bert Angel has worked in the logistics real estate industry for more than 30 years, working for global logistics developer Prologis and also for many years at the Port of Rotterdam Authority. They also welcomed to the team: Elvira Langbroek, Chris Versluis, Hüseyin Demirgünes, Jordi Croninck, Maxwell Jansen, Lennaert van Rossum, René Geertsema, Steven Bijl, Damir Uremovic and Carmen Kwak.

With this, CityLink continues to facilitate the provision of urban logistics real estate that meets all the needs of its users.
